Folks have I got the deal of the day right here. Here we have an excellent example of why the late great M.R. George Herron was and still is one of the most talked about and collected custom knife makers there has ever been. Today Georges’ knives have a huge fallowing by knife collectors. George specialized in stock removal knives and was really well known for his hunting and skinning knives. He was actually a past president of the knifemakers guild and founded the South Carolina Knife Makers Guild, and was inducted into the Blade Cutlery Hall of Fame in 1987. This is a Hunter model and is in a sense its perfection at its best, and is serial number 2066. It features pink ivory wood handles and a tapered tang which Herron was very well known for doing. Folks you do not want to miss out on this knife. It’s a beauty and would go great in any knife collection.
