This knife was made by Gerber in 1981 and wasn’t but 3,000 total made and this one is serial number 1129/3,000. The handle is made of gorgeous Mexican Becote wood and has the finger grooves cut out so it fits perfect in your hand. Both sides of the blade have engravings on it that make this a great collector’s item, and with it having been made to commemorate an occasion for the Harley Davidson motorcycle company that just makes it better. The front side has the famous Harley Logo with “Limited Edition” below that, and the reverse says “Commemorating the Return to Private Ownership of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company June 1981”, with the Chairman, Vice President and Presidents engraved signatures also. This isn’t a knife you see every day so folks, do not miss out on the chance to buy this great collectors item.
