Here we have a custom bullet knife made by the late Mr. John Howser. This is a Bullet Knife made by Mr. Howser with carbon fiber handles and is a beauty. Mr. Howser sold his first knife in 1974. His specialties are slip joint folders (like the Bullet knife made famous by Remington) of older patterned multi-blades; lock backs; hunters; and, fillet knives. This example has ATS-34, though John used D-2 and 440V with a hand rubbed satin finish. Throughout his life John excelled as a custom knife maker, winning best in show awards for his folding knives. He was a member of The Knife makers Guild. John’s knives are really inspiring to knife collectors and custom makers just getting into the trait, so don’t miss out on this piece of cutlery history.
