Here we have a Robert Enders custom slip joint lock back Barlow knife. It comes from a life-long collection of knives that were well-taken care of, and properly stored. The highly polished blade steel is more than likely ATS 34, a stainless steel often used by Mr. Enders. The blade is marked "R. Enders Maker" inside the outline of the state of Michigan. Blade and back spring both have custom file work done to them. The bolsters and liners are nickel silver. The handle scales are red jigged bone, they are in perfect condition. The blade opens easily. The blade appears to be close to center in the liners when closed. It has never been used, carried or sharpened. Blade is unmarked, and the bolsters are also in excellent unmarked condition. This is a solid knife with excellent fit and finish. A great example of one of Bob's folders, in a pocket-friendly size. Bob Enders passed away in 1999. His knives are very desirable, and highly collectible. So don’t miss out on this chance to own this piece of cutlery history.
