Here we have a beautiful example of why the antique Schrade cutlery knives are becoming one the most collected knife brands there are. We have a gorgeous jigged bone handle Congress knife made between the years 1917-1946, and is also a salesman sample. All Four blades have excellent walk and talk for the age of the knife. This knife features nickel silver bolsters, brass pins and liners and beautiful jigged bone handles to finish it off. Handles have no cracks. This would be a great addition for any collector of the vintage Schrade knives. This is a great buy folks, you do not want to miss out on this beautiful piece of cutlery history. BONE WARNING NOTE: Bone is a natural material prone to cracking. Therefore, some knives may have cracks near the pins or bolsters. Will be noted if cracks are visible.
Description
Schrade’s old carbon steel blades, with gorgeous jigged bone handles. Nickel silver bolsters, with brass pins and liners to finish it off. Main Sheepsfoot x2 measures 1 7/8” and the pen blade x2 measuring 1 7/16”. Blade thickness is 1/16”. Closed length is 3 ¼”. Made in the U.S.A. Tang stamps read “Schrade Cut Co. Walden N.Y”.
