Here is a perfect example of why the old vintage Schrade Cut Co. knives are among the most collected by knife collectors today. This knife is mint with the salesman sample number “M8423T” on the main blade. Both blades and the file have excellent walk and talk for the age of the knife and the bone handles have no cracks. The tang stamp reads Schrade Cut Co. Walden N.Y which would date this knife from 1917-1946. Folks you do not want to miss out on this beautiful knife. BONE WARNING NOTE: Bone is a natural material prone to cracking. Therefore, some knives may have cracks near the pins or bolsters. Will be noted if cracks are visible.
Description
Schrade’s old carbon steel blade, with gorgeous jigged bone handles. Nickel silver bolsters with brass pins and liners. Spear blade measures 2”, Pen blade measures 1 7/16” and file measures 2 5/8”. Blade thickness is 1/16”. Closed length is 3 1/8”. Made in the U.S.A. Tang stamps read “Schrade Cut Co. Walden N.Y”.
