Silver Stag Gut Twist Damascus Hunter
Description
Silver Stag damascus steel is manufactured by forge welding multiple layers of 1095 and 15N20 high carbon tool steels into billets and is folded and re-welded several times to produce between 150-300 layers. Patterns are created during the forge welding process in a random twist pattern and the blades are then profiled out of the layered billet block where they are then hand ground, polished and sharpened. The combination of layered hard and soft steels creates flexibility, toughness, and produces invisible serrations on the edge that aid in cutting.
