Here we have a beautiful example of why Colonel Coon knives have become on of the most rare and collected knife brands there are. We have an original Colonel Coon made in Columbia Tennessee from 1978 to 1988, by Adrian Harris the founder of Tennessee Knife Works. This pattern is a large stockman knife pattern. Blades have excellent walk and talk for the age of the knife. This knife features nickel silver bolsters, with brass pins and liners with beautiful brown saw cut bone handles. Handles have no cracks which is getting hard to find on these older knives. This would be a great addition for any collector of the vintage Colonel Coon knives. This is a great buy folks, you do not want to miss out on this beautiful piece of cutlery history. BONE WARNING NOTE: Bone is a natural material prone to cracking. Therefore, some knives may have cracks near the pins or bolsters. Will be noted if cracks are visible.
