Here we have a beautiful example of why the antique Schrade cutlery knives are becoming one the most collected knife brands there are. We have a gorgeous pearl handle Whittler Knife made between the years 1917-1946, which is also a salesman sample knife. This knife has the salesman number “8556 3/8” on the reverse of the main blade. All three blades have excellent walk and talk for the age of the knife. This knife features a “crest” style shield with nickel silver bolsters and pins with brass liners. Handles have no cracks. This would be a great addition for any collector of the vintage Schrade knives. This is a great buy folks, you do not want to miss out on this beautiful piece of cutlery history. BONE WARNING NOTE: Bone is a natural material prone to cracking. Therefore, some knives may have cracks near the pins or bolsters. Will be noted if cracks are visible.

Schrade’s old carbon steel blades, with gorgeous Pearl handles. Nickel silver bolsters and pins with brass liners. Main clip 2 3/8”, small clip Blade 1 7/16” and Pen blade 1 7/16”. Blade thickness is 1/16”. Closed length is 3 ¼”. Made in the U.S.A. All three tang stamps read “Schrade Cut Co. Walden N.Y”.
