Here is a treasure trove knife for all you Walter Grigg knife fans out there. Walter Grigg worked for Randall knife company and made a large lock back for W.D. “Bo” Randall in the late 60’s as a Christmas present and Bo liked it so much him and Walter decided to start offering knives like this one in their catalog. This small lock back Barlow was made by Walter more than likely in the 80’s some time, and has custom scrimshaw work by Rick Bowles the only Randall certified scrimshaw artist. This knife has a scene of a duck blind and flying ducks on the front handle and is absolutely astonishing art work. Rick Bowles completed the scrimshaw work in 2014 for our very own Mr. Jay Parker here at Smoky Mountain Knife Works. These knives were taken care of and are in mint condition so don’t miss your chance to buy this beautiful piece of cutlery history. I’m having a feeling it won’t last long.
