W. D. Pease custom side lock knife 4.50 inch with walrus ivory handles 154cm stainless steel blade plain blade edge

Here we have a custom slip joint knife made by William David Pease (W D Pease). This Side lock knife will leave you wanting more. It has nickel silver bolsters, pins and liners. Blade has a very smooth opening and closing movement. This is one of W D Pease’s earlier knives, it was made in May of 1984. Reverse blade etch reads “01SM6”, “01” stands for a model 01; “S” stands for a side lock; and the “M” stands for type of steel. He uses 154-CM stainless steel so you get these beautiful lock back patterns but with a modern steel, and is a great steel for edge holding retention. The handles are absolutely gorgeous Walrus Ivory with beautiful color that match this knife perfectly. The only imperfection is some small hairline cracks at the center pin on the side with the lock, other than that this knife is in great shape.
