Here we have a custom slip joint knife made by Joel Chamblin. Joel started making knives in 1989 and he’s had nothing but success since then. This Peanut knife will leave you wanting more. It has nickel silver bolsters, pins and liners. Both blades have the half stop feature. Joel makes the old “traditional” pattern knives with a bit of a “modern” twist to them. He starting out using ATS-34 stainless steel but later started using 154CM so you get the great traditional patterns but with a modern steel. ATS-34 is a great steel for its edge holding retention, which is what is in this particular model. The handles are absolutely gorgeous bone with a beautiful jigging pattern that match this knife perfectly.
